In our experience, if one is looking for very good realistic sound reproduction for serious relaxation or listening, there are some nice systems around which will not really break your budget... Remember these are our opinions and our recommendations.

Best Speakers :REALISM is the MAIN criterion in judgement all the time.

• SPICA (all rounder, weak bass; about USD 900 per pair)
• WATT (THE MOST REALISTIC speakers period. USD 6000 /pr and UP!)
• Magnaplanar (Some models are pretty nice.. USD 600/pr and up !)
• JBL L19, L40 and monitor series (mostly for jazz, USD 500/pr and up!)
• AR some older models (mostly for rock, USD500/pr and up)
• Yamaha Minimonitor M10 white (mostly female vocal, USD 600/pr up)
• Vandersteen most models ( all rounder; about USD 2000/pr up!)
• Eminent Technology LFT (Best planar sound. USD 2000/pr up)

Best Wires and Cables:

• Audioquest !! (many models, USD 10 /m and up..)
• Magic ( We are the importers for this one.. call! USD 25/m and up)
• Siltech (out of reach…. but Numero Uno. USD 200/m and up)

Best Amplifiers:

• McCormack !! (set goes USD 2500 and up..)
• A (out of reach, but as good as you can get USD 5000 and up)

Best Cassette Deck:

• Yamaha KX 580 !! (is it CD or tape? wow.Dolby S. USD 500 and up..)
• Old Nakamichi decks (obsolete...but as good as you can get.. USD 1000++ remember the N500, N700 II, and N 1000 II?)
